YTM Staff Strengthen STEM Skills Through Training Programme at TM Digital Academy

Cyberjaya, Selangor – A total of 17 staff from Yayasan TM (YTM) recently participated in the YTM Training Programme at the TM Digital Academy, Cyberjaya, to strengthen their capabilities in delivering engaging STEM learning experiences. The programme provided hands-on exposure to a range of digital tools and technologies that support innovative teaching and learning approaches in STEM education.
During the training, participants explored several key modules, including PocketLab for data-driven experiments, robotics programming with the mBot using mBlock, and integration with the Arduino IDE to program line-following and ultrasonic sensors. The programme also introduced TinkerCAD for 3D design, followed by 3D printing using Bambu Lab printers, enabling participants to transform digital designs into physical prototypes.
In addition, participants were introduced to MakeCode programming for the micro:bit, allowing them to develop interactive coding projects suitable for beginner-level learners. Through this programme, YTM staff gained valuable exposure to robotics, coding, data logging, and digital fabrication technologies, further enhancing their capacity to support STEM education initiatives and inspire future-ready learners across Malaysia.
